The salon was previously known as Lake Country Salons, a name the salon says the community knew well and valued. After a change in ownership it was rebranded as A-Styles at Lake Country Salons. Anna led the rebrand, which included a redesign of the salon, a new logo and a palette of light neutral tones with green accents.

The salon says its aim is high-quality hair care and products, backed by ongoing training for its staff. It also says it hopes to go beyond what clients expect from each service and to help them leave feeling their best.

Appointments are booked by phone or in person; online booking is not offered. A 15-minute consultation is complimentary. Shampooing is included with every haircut. Final costs can change with hair length, extra color or the time a service needs. Special occasion styles require a $10 deposit, which is refunded only with cancellation 24 hours ahead and is deducted from the final cost.

The salon is open Monday 9 am to 8 pm, Tuesday 11 am to 8 pm, Wednesday and Thursday 9 am to 8 pm, Friday 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday 9 am to 3 pm. It is closed on Sundays.
