Amber began in the beauty industry as a hair stylist and makeup artist, with training at the Aveda Institute, and has worked in the field for more than 20 years. A year touring with Prince and his bands 3rdEyeGirl and NPG in 2013 took in more than 45 shows around the world, and she moved to Los Angeles afterward. Her editorial work has appeared in V Magazine, GQ and Teen Vogue, and her red carpet work includes the Emmys and the Billboard Music Awards.

Clients come to the work for campaigns and e-commerce as well as for events and press. Recent and ongoing commercial work includes campaigns for Nike, Supergoop!, Anthropologie, Salt and Stone, Stanley, Starbucks, Gorjana and Vacation, and the site notes that Vacation has been a client since 2022 and Anthropologie is a regular one.
