The Gua Sha Deluxe Facial takes 90 minutes, and The Works Deluxe Facial is a two-hour session with Gua Sha, a DF treatment and near-infrared light. The DF facial uses an Environ Ionzyme DF machine that combines sonophoresis and iontophoresis, and the site says this improves serum penetration. The site presents the DF facial as its anti-aging option and compares it with HydraFacial and microdermabrasion.
Skin analysis uses the DermaConcepts CRT system to measure sebum, hydration, melanin and redness, and its $60 fee can be redeemed as credit toward post-treatment products. Light therapy can be added to any facial for $25. GlycoAla, a photodynamic gel treatment combined with LED light and hyaluronic acid, is not offered to first-time clients, and skin must be conditioned gradually beforehand.
Appointments are held with a credit or debit card. Clients should arrive 10 to 15 minutes early, since the door is locked for anyone arriving more than 15 minutes ahead. Cancellations or changes need at least 48 hours' notice, or the full price of the service is charged. The studio is open Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with Monday by appointment, and gift cards are available.
Sessions are unhurried and built on natural, non-invasive techniques, with attention to how the body and nervous system respond.
