The menu centers on locs: Sisterlocks installation, traditional locs and loc retightening. Twists, styling and sew-ins, hair and braid extensions, and color services are also offered. Clients who are not sure which service fits their hair are encouraged to book a consultation first.
The Self Tightening Class teaches clients how to tighten their own locs. It runs about two hours and is scheduled on Mondays and Saturdays for $200. Each student receives hands-on training, two tightening tools and a certificate of completion. To join, locs need to be installed with new growth in at least one area, hair should be clean, and locs should be mature, separated and unmatted. Students must be a client of the salon or recommended by one. When no class date is listed, clients can join a waitlist.
The salon also sells My Loc Journey, a book for recording a loc journey that was released in 2020. It is available at the salon, Barnes & Noble and Amazon.
