Every service begins with a consultation. For braids, that covers goals, chemical history, hair density and scalp condition. For cornrows, the conversation is about design shape, part direction and density. For locs, it covers long-term goals, the loc size wanted, parting pattern and how much maintenance the client can keep up. Wig and sew-in visits start with a hair health assessment, and clients can bring their own wig so it can be measured and pre-styled. Starting prices run from $30 for a standard wash and detangle to $800 for long, complex faux locs. The salon presents these as estimates, since final cost depends on hair length, density, design complexity and extension material, and it is confirmed at consultation.
The range runs from simple cornrows and jumbo box braids to micro knotless braids, faux locs, starter locs, custom lace wigs and sew-ins. Knotless braids are installed with a feed-in method that avoids bulky knots at the base, which the salon says reduces scalp tension. Colored extensions and ombre options are available for braids without bleaching natural hair, and professional removal of knotless or box braids is also offered. Clients receive a customized aftercare plan with product and sleep protection suggestions. Longer sessions include comfort breaks, and clients who have mobility or special needs are asked to say so when booking.
Braiding lessons are a separate part of the business, aimed at absolute beginners, intermediate stylists, aspiring professionals, parents learning safe braiding for their children and people who want a refresher. Options include private one-hour and two-hour sessions, a small-group flagship workshop, and an advanced professional module booked by appointment. Lessons cover parting, cornrow and feed-in technique, tension control, scalp health, sanitation, glove use, client communication, pricing and portfolio building. Students receive a certificate of completion for select modules.
Each service starts with a hair and scalp consultation, followed by aftercare guidance and product recommendations. Tools are sanitized between clients, and disposable items are used where they make sense.
The salon says clients value its calm atmosphere and punctuality, and it describes its lesson environment as supportive.
