606 Salon has operated at its North Damen Avenue location since 2014. The name was chosen to reflect Chicago. Hours run Tuesday through Saturday, and the salon is closed Sunday and Monday.

The salon offers hair coloring and haircuts for men, women and children. Every color appointment comes with a blow-dry at no extra charge, and a styled finish is included when one is offered. Color pricing is separate from haircuts and depends on how long the service takes and how much extra product is mixed in. Bridal styling includes a 15-minute consultation that can be booked online. A bride has a first trial three months before the wedding and a second one month before. Bridesmaid styles need inspiration pictures 60 days in advance, and a wedding can include up to six bridesmaids. Wedding day service starts at 8am and can be coordinated with a makeup artist or wedding planner. The bride is allotted an hour for hair and each bridesmaid thirty minutes, about four hours in total.

On-site bridal service is offered in downtown Chicago only, and the package including travel costs $3,000 for four hours.
