Zhuying Huang

Zhuying Huang is the managing acupuncturist at the San Jose location of ACA Acupuncture & Wellness in Los Gatos. She received her first Chinese medicine degree in 1999 from Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a five-year program, and later earned a BSPS from the pharmacy school at Purdue University. Her earlier medical work includes time at China-Japan Friendship Hospital and DongZhiMen Hospital. Benzheng Fang, a professor at Five Branches University, is her mentor. She holds several leadership roles: director of education in the department of the American Society of Chinese Medicine, director of the Fang's Scalp Acupuncture research department at the China-US Institute for Acupuncture and Rehabilitation, and director of networks at the American TCM Association. Her specialties include pain management, fatigue, depression, anxiety, women's health and diabetes. She also practices Fang's Scalp Acupuncture. Treatment plans can combine Chinese herbs, acupuncture, Tuina and moxibustion, along with cupping.
