Yanzhu Liu

Yanzhu Liu is listed with L.Ac credentials. He has more than 35 years of clinical practice in Traditional Chinese Medicine and serves as a professor and PhD supervisor at Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Previously an associate research scientist at Columbia University, he has over 13 years of research on atherosclerosis, including hyperlipidemia and arterial disease. He holds several patents: one for an atherosclerosis treatment and four for AI-driven medical devices. He developed AI acupoint detection technology. He practices abdominal acupuncture. He is chief editor of Internal Medicine – Chinese Medicine, has contributed to five medical books, and is listed as managing acupuncturist at ACA Washington Heights and among its resident acupuncturists. He mentored Yu Zhou in abdominal acupuncture.
