Yanesky Sanchez Lago, FNP-C

Yanesky Sanchez Lago is a Family Nurse Practitioner at New You Wellness Center, with clinical backgrounds in neonatal care, intensive care and obstetrics. Her nursing education started in 1996 at the School of Medicine Dr. Faustino Pérez Hernández in Sancti Spíritus, and she qualified as a Registered Nurse in 2001. Following that, she worked three years in neonatology, went on to act as Deputy Director of Hygiene and Epidemiology, and built experience in burn care and intensive care. In 2014 she relocated to Ecuador, where she had her nursing degree validated and held a post in gynecology and obstetrics at the General Teaching Hospital Calderón in Quito. She came to the United States in 2015, passed the NCLEX RN examination in 2018, completed a Master's program in 2022 and earned board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner that same year. She joined New You Wellness Center in May 2022.
