William Collier

William Collier founded William Collier Design and began his career in hair in 1968 at one of Seattle's most prestigious salons. He opened Salon 1500 in 1970, with Gene Juarez joining him, then Salon West in West Seattle in 1972 and Collier's in downtown Seattle's fashion district in 1973. He turned to hair replacement after an association with a European hair replacement specialist.

He has been cutting and designing hair for more than 50 years and has more than 35 years of experience in hair replacement. He trained at one of London's most prestigious training centers and abroad with international industry names in Europe and Britain. He is a Certified Hair Addition Specialist, joined the American Hair Loss Association in spring 1993, and attends its AHLC symposiums. He was invited to join the FOLLEA Expert Advisory Panel in 2008.

His focus is custom partial hairpieces and full-head wigs, including custom coloring and cutting. Clients can expect him to see each person as an individual and to build the design around that person's character.
