Whitney Bacon-Benson owns Whitney Handz and works as its stylist. She started hairdressing at age 12 with an apprenticeship at a cousin's hair studio. She holds a cosmetology license and a degree in business management and administration, and she trained at Elite Unlimited Modeling School. Her specialties include color, highlights, natural styling, locs and extensions. She has taken part in Glynn Jackson's Golden Scissors Awards, several Tri-State hair show competitions and the Bronner Brothers Hair Show in Atlanta. She styled hair for Philadelphia's 2021 Juneteenth Fashion Show in Vernon Park, and The Salon by InStyle's Instagram page featured her work as a color influencer. She has modeled for Montage Fashion and Vicky Leach Bridal Shows. A January 2022 Prestige Modeling Magazine UK edition featured her hair as stylist.
