Wendy

Wendy is the owner of Amore Skincare by Wendy, a skincare practice in Emeryville. She is a licensed esthetician with 15 years in the field, having begun her esthetics career in 2011. Her training came at The San Francisco Institute of Esthetics and Cosmetology, where she ranked at the top of her graduating class. For more than ten years she worked at Burke Williams Day Spa in San Francisco, and after pandemic-era closures she opened her own practice. Most of her Bay Area clients have arrived by referral.

Her approach leans on science-driven corrective care, with treatments aimed at signs of aging and at rebuilding a compromised skin barrier. She treats every skin type and tone and follows new skincare research, though she relies on methods with a proven record. Her work includes acne-prone, sensitive, dry or aging skin, and each visit opens with a skin evaluation, followed by home-care advice and product suggestions for between appointments.
