Wadiyah 'Dee Dee'

Dee Dee is a natural hairstylist and the owner of Dee Dee Does Do's, with 16 years in the natural hair industry. Her practice centers on natural hair care for children and adults. She trained at the School of Cooperative Technical Education (Coop Tech). Her early hands-on work came through an internship and a job at Tendrils Natural Hair Spa under Ms. Diane Bailey, and she volunteered at the Bam Dance Africa photo shoot, the African hair show and other natural hair care events. She later styled clients at Mind Body Hair Salon, working alongside Ebony Hayes, and she was previously a stylist for KHINKY.COM, installing loc extensions. She is currently based at Jay's Barber Shop in Harlem. She serves clients who are relaxed and considering a transition, as well as those who already wear their hair natural.
