Vladimir Zeetser

Vladimir Zeetser is a board-certified podiatric physician and surgeon with the credentials DPM and FACFAS, and he works from the practice's Encino office on Balboa Boulevard. He treats structural disorders of the foot and ankle, along with muscular, neurological, vascular and skin conditions of the lower extremity, for patients of all ages, from children to older adults. He has treated a young athlete for Sever's disease.

His reconstructive work covers bunions, including FastForward bunion correction and FastForward hallux varus correction. He performs aesthetic foot surgery and is credited on the site with developing the FootFem procedure. He also uses sclerotherapy, including Asclera (polidocanol) injection, for spider and varicose veins. In June 2018 he gave a keynote in Taiwan on FastForward bunion surgery and 3D printing.

Wound care is a major part of his practice. He works in advanced foot and ankle wound management and diabetic limb salvage, using skin flaps, adjacent tissue transfers and several skin grafting materials, along with collagen and silver-impregnated dressings, topical medications and medical maggot therapy. He routinely treats complicated wounds that are hard to heal, including patients who travel from distant cities for limb salvage. Patient reviews describe him as explaining procedures and answering questions in detail, and say he has offered weekend appointments, short-notice visits and follow-up care for wound healing.
