Violeta Recalde

Violeta Recalde founded MedGlo and is a board-certified physician with an MD, also board-certified in family medicine. Before moving into aesthetic medicine, she worked as a hospitalist managing complex inpatient cases. She has more than 20 years of medical experience, seven of them with Botox and filler.

At MedGlo she personally performs the injections, laser treatments and skin treatments, and she confirms the Botox dose at the visit, recommending units based on the treatment area. Consultations are one-on-one and pressure-free. She also leads Med-Glo Primary Care for adults, covering physicals, chronic conditions, sick visits and mental health management, and she accepts new adult primary care patients, including Medicare patients. For the medical weight loss program she provides physician oversight, reviews progress and adjusts treatment, choosing the GLP-1 medication after a medical evaluation and starting with labs. She provides care in English and Spanish.
