Victoria Wang, M.D.

Dr. Wang is a board-certified dermatologist and board-certified Mohs surgeon at Alta Dermatology, where she has practiced dermatology since 2009. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University, earned summa cum laude with department honors, and a medical doctorate from the University of California San Diego. She finished first in her medical school class. She trained in dermatology at Northwestern University School of Medicine in Chicago, after a transitional internship at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. Her clinical work covers evaluating, diagnosing and treating skin conditions and skin cancers. She performs Mohs surgery and was among the first to earn certification in the Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery Subspecialty. Her patients are treated for acne and skin cancer, and she offers cosmetic injections, including Botox and Juvederm. She has privileges at St. Joseph Mission Hospital and has participated in clinical research. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and holds fellowship with the American Society for Mohs Surgery. She has presented research at national and international conferences, has given community talks over a number of years, and has published in scientific journals. She has also served as a peer reviewer for Pediatric Dermatology and other scientific journals. She has received awards for research, community service, preventive medicine, humanism, social and behavioral science, and academic excellence.
