About
Victor Scotti, Jr. is the founder and colorist at Short Story Hair Color. His work covers short hair color and short haircuts, for hair chin length or shorter, and he welcomes guests of any gender and any hair texture. He cuts dry, checking the shape as it sits, and on curly or textured hair he works through each curl and section in turn.
He trained at the Aveda Institute and graduated from its cosmetology program, and he also trained in trichology through IAT. He is licensed as a cosmetologist in DC, Virginia and Maryland. Every color the studio offers has been tried on him first.

- Before mixing color, he reads the pigment already present in hair, skin and eyes, and plans each color for regrowth alongside the finished result.
