Victor Chung

Victor Chung, MD, is a board-certified otolaryngologist who practices facial plastic surgery at La Jolla Facial Plastic Surgery. He is board certified in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He holds memberships in the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery, the Triological Society and the American Rhinologic Society.

His training began with an undergraduate degree in chemistry from Yale University, where he took part in research that included studies on skin grafting and rhinoplasty. He earned his medical degree at Tufts University School of Medicine, completed a general surgery and otolaryngology internship and a residency in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery at Tufts Medical Center, where he served as chief resident for two years. He then completed a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Illinois-Chicago, and he has published peer-reviewed work on otolaryngology and facial rejuvenation, including presentations and publications on tip contouring in rhinoplasty, sleep apnea and scalp skin cancer.

His practice is limited to facial plastic surgery. He specializes in rhinoplasty and also performs eyelid surgery, fat transfer, facial fillers, BOTOX Cosmetic and revision rhinoplasty. He sees patients from La Jolla, Encinitas and nearby areas.
