Vickie Laureys owns Vickie's Personal Touch. She graduated from cosmetology school in 1974 and purchased her business in downtown Wauconda in 1986.
She has been involved with the Wauconda Chamber of Commerce, the Wauconda Rotary Club, the Lions Club and Business Exchange. The Wauconda Area Chamber of Commerce gave her its Lifetime Achievement Award in 2025 for community contributions. She is not currently accepting new clients.
