Verónica Mendez

Verónica Mendez is the founder and Lead Stylist of Ruby Glow Studio, and has 13 years of experience working in the chair. She is fully bilingual in English and Spanish.

Her training includes color theory and advanced techniques through Wella, the certified colorist program at Redken, and professional color work through L'Oréal. Her training also covers master technique workshops with Anika and Igor's. She is certified as a Brazilian Blowout smoothing treatment provider and as a GK Keratin keratin treatment specialist.

Her specialties include balayage, color and highlights, hair extensions, Brazilian Blowout, GK Keratin, gloss and toner, and both women's and men's cuts. She works with curly, coily, and wavy textures, dry-cutting curly hair first to see its natural shape before refining the cut. For curly-hair clients she builds a take-home routine covering products, how often to return, and technique. She places balayage by hand and works one-on-one with each client.
