Vanessa Peixoto

Vanessa Peixoto, APRN, personally leads consultations, treatments and follow-up care at Dermalier. She is a board-certified nurse practitioner holding the APRN credential, with more than ten years of medical experience in family practice, preventive care, wellness and vascular health. The clinic describes her as a master injector.

She trained with Dr. Rebecka Gardell in Stockholm, Sweden, in lip enhancement. Her lip filler work is planned from the front, the side profile and while the lips are in motion, and she uses the Swedish Lip approach where it suits the patient. Her specialties include lip filler, Botox and Dysport, dermal filler, and IPL and ResurFX.

Before planning Botox or Dysport, she checks facial movement both at rest and in motion, and considers how the cheeks, nose, lips, chin and jawline relate to one another. Her approach leans toward staged, conservative treatment. She may suggest less product, a recheck once the result has settled, or no treatment at all. For IPL and ResurFX, she chooses the filter and settings for each concern after weighing skin tone, sun exposure and medications.

She provides Sculptra and Radiesse biostimulator treatments, planning the product, placement and series around the whole face, and she assesses the mature result before suggesting maintenance.
