Valerie Crews

Valerie Crews is the owner and a master stylist at Urban Image Salon, where she took over ownership in 2009. She has worked in the hair industry for more than twenty years, with earlier work in Texas, Georgia and North Carolina before settling in Tennessee.

She trained at Rodney Mitchell Salons in Nashville and at Rodney Gavin salon in Franklin, and she completed advanced razor cutting training with Bumble and Bumble in New York. She attends seminars and classes to advance her skills and keep up with trends.

Her specialties are color theory, color correction, multi-dimensional coloring, balayage, and foil highlights and lowlights, along with advanced cutting including razor cutting.
