Valentina Vargas

Valentina Vargas owns Aura Skinfit and works as a licensed esthetician in California, within the scope that state allows for estheticians. Her California esthetics license was issued in 2019. She is also a licensed physician in Colombia and holds a medical degree from Universidad El Bosque in Bogota. Earlier training covers general ophthalmology at Universidad Javeriana. From 2000 to 2002, she was a fellow at the Storm Eye Institute, Medical University of South Carolina, where she trained in oculoplastic and reconstructive eye surgery. From 2003 on, she held roles in ophthalmic clinical research and medical education across California with eye care companies, and she has presented at international scientific meetings. Her clinical background informs the protocols she designs for the studio, and each year she attends esthetics education conferences to stay current.
