Valarie

Valarie is the founder and esthetician of Complexion Code. She has been a Licensed Esthetician for more than 15 years and has helped hundreds of clients improve their skin. Her focus is skin of color, including hyperpigmentation, dark spots, acne, acne scarring and uneven skin tone. She has experience with melanated skin, including managing post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. She also works with perimenopausal and mature skin, fine lines and loss of firmness, and works with women who want a structured plan for melasma or enlarged pores. Her training goes beyond basic esthetics. She has studied with dermatologists, master estheticians and skincare professionals across the U.S., and she also has corrective skincare training at an advanced level. Before a corrective plan is built, she assesses each client's skin, history, current products and goals, then goes over what to expect from each recommended treatment before, during and after it.
