Valarie Arras is the owner and a stylist at Rocket Room Hair. She began working as a hair stylist after graduating from Greenwood Academy of Hair in 2006.
She completed intensive training programs in Las Vegas, Santa Monica and Dallas focused on cutting, coloring and styling. Before opening her own salon, she worked at two Seattle salons. She opened Rocket Room Hair in 2019 in Madison Park.
Her work focuses on vibrant color and a range of creative techniques, including razor-cut textured looks. She sees the client relationship as a partnership aimed at reaching the client's hair goals, with polished, healthy-looking results as the aim.
