About
Tyler Mascio started out as a makeup artist, trained at the Jean Madeline Aveda Institute, and founded The Vault Beauty Lab. His work includes wedding parties and private events, and television productions, where he has worked alongside the cast of VH1's Mob Wives and America's Next Top Model. He has also worked with celebrities including Sonja Morgan and Angela Rummans, and took part in New York Fashion Week in 2022. His hair color approach combines California-style balayage with an East Coast sensibility, a blend he calls East Coast Surf Hair. He teaches hair education internationally. He earned the Masters of Balayage Extensions award and was a top five finalist in the Face Frame category at the Behind the Chair One Shot Hair Awards.
