About
Tracie Armand owns the Heights studio she opened after moving back to Houston, and she works there as its stylist. Her training began at beauty college, followed by seven years at a salon in Texas and then a stint at an Atlanta salon whose clientele included CNN on-air talent. Alongside salon work, she served as a technical educator for Graham Webb International, moved up to Education Manager for the Southern U.S. region, and then became a Creative Director teaching at the American Academies. She performed as a platform artist at Graham Webb trade shows and took a haute couture cutting class at the D.C. Graham Webb Academy. After Graham Webb was sold, she joined Framesi International, the Italian hair color company, as an Education Manager and spent nearly six years traveling for the brand. Her specialties are layered cuts and a modern reinterpretation of the 1980s look. She also gives hair tips and styling advice aimed at busy women, professional mothers included.
