About
Tony Castro works as an independent hair colorist at Sola Salon in Edina. He earned a cosmetology diploma from Vidal Sassoon.
He also worked at Frederic Fekkai in Beverly Hills, spending ten years on Rodeo Drive. While there he mastered the French balayage technique, which paints selected strands, and he colored the hair of actresses including Katherine Heigl, Alicia Silverstone, Dana Delaney and Patricia Heaton.
His focus is balayage highlights, gray hair coverage and color corrections, aiming for a natural-looking color matched to each client's skin tone. His color work has been featured in CSI Miami, E.R., Grey's Anatomy and The Girls Next Door.
