Tom runs Tom & Deniz Hair Studio, which serves clients in McLean, Virginia. His career started in 1980 in Istanbul. In 1989 he moved to New York and joined the Frederic Fekkai team. He later taught color at the Frederic Fekkai salon in Beverly Hills, and from 1996 to 2009 he operated an upscale salon in New York. His styling work has also included Victoria's Secret shows and the television series Friends. He settled in the Washington, DC area in 2009. Washingtonian Magazine named him one of the top 10 stylists in 2010. Clients praise his cutting and styling skill and describe his work as detail-oriented.
