About

Todd C. Hobgood, MD runs his practice as its surgeon and owner. He holds board certification in two fields: he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and of the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and he sits on the examining board of the first. Over more than 22 years in facial plastic surgery, he has completed over 1,700 facelifts and more than 5,000 rhinoplasties.

Hobgood received his Doctor of Medicine from The Ohio State University College of Medicine, graduating summa cum laude and ranked first in a class of 208. Before that he earned a Bachelor of Arts in pre-medicine, chemistry and zoology from Ohio Wesleyan University. His general surgery internship was at Mount Carmel Medical Center, and his otolaryngology-head and neck surgery residency was at The Ohio State University Hospitals. He went on to train at Indiana University College of Medicine through an American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship, and finished a facial aesthetic surgery fellowship with Dr. Stephen Perkins at Meridian Surgical Center. He also served as a clinical instructor at Indiana University.

Hobgood's surgical focus includes facelift (including the deep plane technique), revision and ethnic rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, and neck lift. Non-surgical options he provides are BOTOX Cosmetic injections, dermal fillers, and laser skin resurfacing. He teaches deep plane facelift technique to other surgeons, and has worked as a consultant and injection trainer for Allergan (BOTOX Cosmetic, Juvederm and LATISSE) and BioForm Medical (Radiesse). He has been named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor for 14 consecutive years and is a RealSelf Hall of Fame facial plastic surgeon. The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery has honored him for his commitment to quality, and he is recognized nationally for leadership. Patients travel to him from across Arizona, around the United States and from abroad, and he performs surgery at Paradise Valley Specialty Surgery Center and McCormick Ranch Surgicenter.
