About

Tina Herod founded Ārdeō Color Studio and works there as a founder, owner and master hair color specialist. She has worked in the hair industry since 2001 and has more than two decades of experience in hair color. Before returning to Austin, she lived in New York City and traveled to London, and she has worked Fashion Week in New York several times and colored hair for celebrity clients. She has also helped train several Austin colorists. Her training includes an intensive education program early in her career and advanced study in London and New York, with industry educators David Adams, John Raymen, Ted Gibson and Trevor Sorbie. Her specialties include balayage, lived-in color, color correction, blonde highlights, custom color and extensions. She received Aveda's Hair Color Artist of the Year award, and her clients include editors, executives, models and actresses.
