About
Tim Walsh is a stylist at the salon who cuts and colors hair and also styles and colors wigs. He started working with hair in Seattle in the 1980s and has worked as a haircolorist for as long as he has worked as a haircutter, with color work making up about as much of his time as cutting.
He cuts fine, straight hair and thick, curly hair using different techniques. His color work includes highlighting, foiling, balayage and combined techniques, and he corrects color that is dull, damaged, brassy, rusty or harsh. For clients, he considers skin tone, hair condition and existing color, and plans how color will grow out over three to five weeks. He also cuts and thins wigs so they look natural.
