Tim

Tim owns Studio 347 Hair Salon, where he also works as a hair stylist. He has been styling hair for more than thirty years. He trained at Long Island Beauty Academy and first worked at Glemby in Huntington. Roughly half a year later, a Manhattan salon owner offered him a job, and he then spent many years working in Manhattan salons, in midtown, near Wall Street and in the lower East Village. He also did fashion styling for photographers and worked on hair for the NBC soap opera Another World, where he picked up makeup skills. Later he opened a salon in Montclair, New Jersey, with a friend, and afterward he returned to Long Island. He has taken education courses with Tony and Guy, Jingles, Aquage, Rusk, Clairol and Framesi, and he is a master colorist with L'Oreal. He has also taught classes in updos, haircutting and ethnic hair.
