Tim Kaplan works as an aesthetic nurse and injection specialist. He is a registered nurse with a BSN, and his path ran through a spa coordinator job he took while still in nursing school. He holds a BS in Biological Sciences from the University of Missouri and a BS in Nursing from the University of Missouri–St. Louis (UMSL), where he graduated with honors.

He worked at the bedside as a nurse before fully committing to aesthetics in 2020. After earning his nursing license he moved into aesthetic injecting, and he most recently served as a regional trainer for Merz Aesthetics, where he delivered hundreds of training sessions to injectors over the past two years.
