About
Tierney is the Lead Facilitator at Evolve Skin Bar, a position held since September 2023. Before that, she spent four years as lead aesthetician and laser technician at another local med spa. Her career started in 2016, and she has close to ten years of hands-on skincare experience, including laser work. She is a licensed Arizona aesthetician and a certified laser technician, holding state-recognized laser certification. She graduated from Oliver Finley Academy in Boise, Idaho, and completed laser training at the National Laser Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona, in 2018. She has advanced training in HydraFacial, MDPen microneedling, Viora DermaFuse, and Face Reality acne treatments, and she is the author of a guide to HydraFacial for acne. In fall 2022 she began an Associate of Applied Science degree at Scottsdale Community College, and she places a high value on continuing education. Her treatments include HydraFacial, microneedling, chemical peels, IPL, laser resurfacing, laser hair removal, and body contouring. She personally performs every laser treatment at the business and adjusts settings according to how each client's skin responded at the previous session. That applies to laser hair removal consultations, test patches, and setting changes. For body contouring, she measures and photographs the treatment area at the first visit and modifies settings from one session to the next. Her goal is measurable gains in skin health and appearance, approached holistically. She answers contact form questions within one business day.
