Tien Vo

Tien Vo is the general manager of Metro Nail Bar Sterling and the founder of Beauty Bar by Tien. She began a beauty business venture in 2017 and has worked in the nail art community in New Jersey and northern Virginia for about seven years.

Her training includes microblading with Master Leslie Ritchie at Phibrows Academy by Branko Babic, and she graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a degree in biology and chemistry. She holds certifications as a permanent makeup artist, a PhiBrows microblading artist and a lash extensions artist, and she is a licensed nail technician.

She specializes in eyebrow microblading. She shapes the brows in pencil and shows clients a handheld mirror before beginning, and she works only once the client has approved the shape. She uses sterilized single-use blades, gauze pads and q-tips with high-quality pigments, and she discards leftover pigment and blades after each procedure.
