About

Thomas Pane practices as a plastic surgeon in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Since moving to South Florida in 2006, he has run a private plastic surgery practice in Palm Beach County, after beginning in private practice in Newport, Rhode Island, in 2004. Earlier positions include plastic surgery work in Miami, Doral and West Miami, and a term as medical director for aesthetics at Viso LASIK MedSpas in Wellington from 2008 to 2010. From 2010 to 2021, and again from 2026, he has served as a consultant reviewer in plastic and general surgery for MCMC in Boston.

He earned a Bachelor of Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1993, graduating with high distinction, and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in 1997. His training then moved through a five-year general surgery residency at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts, a program tied to Tufts University School of Medicine, followed by two years of plastic surgery training at Detroit Medical Center and Wayne State University. He served as chief resident during the final year, from 2003 to 2004.

He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (2005, recertified 2015 and 2025), the American Board of Surgery (2003, recertified 2013), and the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons in Surgery and Plastic Surgery (2022, recertified 2024). He holds a Florida medical license. His peer-reviewed publications include a 2019 Aesthetic Surgery Journal report on 137 cases of high-volume buttock fat transfer.

His practice covers facial, breast and body surgery, spanning aesthetic, plastic and cosmetic work, and includes breast procedures for both women and men. Under medical direction, he also offers cosmetic injectables such as neurotoxins and dermal fillers, and laser skin resurfacing for aging skin, scars and sun damage. He has experience with interventional pain procedures such as occipital nerve blocks and uses neuromodulators in migraine treatment.
