Tessa Matsis Smith

Tessa Matsis Smith is the Master Stylist and owner of the salon. She has 17 years of experience as a stylist and almost 22 years in the hair industry, with work in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland and Sacramento.

She works as an Aveda color artist and specializes in color and blonde work. She also cuts hair with razor and shears. Outside the salon, she works as an editorial stylist for photoshoots, television and fashion shows, with experience in print, runway and avant-garde styling.

Her continuing education includes Aveda, Wella, TiGi, and Bumble and Bumble. She also writes the salon blog, covering hair topics such as trends, her product preferences and trend alerts.
