Teri Dyson-Blackmon

Teri Dyson-Blackmon is the owner and a stylist at Dyson Hair Salon. She is a licensed cosmetologist with more than 30 years in the field, and she received her cosmetology license in 1985 after moving back to California.

Her career began in New York, where she worked as a receptionist at a Soul Scissors salon on 57th Street. She later managed and then supervised many Soul Scissors locations, which included opening new locations and rebuilding the business. Since then she has owned and operated several salon locations, and she has worked alongside her father and sisters in the family business.

She has experience with many different hair textures and techniques. Clients can expect personalized advice on their hair texture and the style they want, and she takes time to answer their questions.
