Teresa

Teresa is the founder of The Artistry Salon, where she works as a master artist and educator. She has built the salon over more than 20 years as an Aveda Concept Salon in the Fremont Bay Area, serving a diverse mix of clients.

Her specialties are hair color and cutting. She creates custom hair recipes aimed at shiny, healthy hair for clients. She has also trained on makeup and hair for photo shoots with Trevor Sorbie.

Her training includes advanced hair cutting at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in London and at an advanced hair cutting academy in New York City, along with personal barber training, study at Jingles International in San Francisco in 1985, the Aveda Institute and Armonia Academy in Italy. She has also trained with CHI, Sexy Hair and Schwarzkopf Professional, and she holds Bio Ionic certification. She is currently continuing her training under the Martin Parson and Tony and Guy curricula, and she prioritizes ongoing Aveda training in cutting, color and makeup.
