Tarik Husain

Tarik Husain is the owner and surgeon at Dr. Miami Beach, also known as Dr. Miami Beach. He is board-certified in plastic surgery and orthopedic surgery and holds additional subspecialty certifications in sports medicine and hand surgery. Before medical school he worked as a biomedical engineer for Siemens Power Corporation. He attended medical school at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, completed an orthopedic surgery residency in Hawaii, and served four years of active duty as an Army orthopedic and sports medicine surgeon, three of them in Germany, during the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.

He completed his plastic surgery residency at the University of Miami and subspecialty training in plastic surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. He started a private practice in Miami, is a professor of plastic surgery at Larkin Hospital and serves as a volunteer faculty member at the University of Miami. He is a key opinion leader for Renuvion and J-Plasma, serves as an expert witness in complicated cases, and trains surgical residents, including how to shift between firm and delicate hand techniques.

His focus is male facial and body transformation, with particular work in high-definition abdominal etching and deep plane facelift surgery. He holds that the face should match the body, and he has taught that idea at international conferences. He lectures on his surgical techniques in the United States and several other countries. He is recognized internationally for male aesthetics, and men travel from around the world to see him.

Most of his surgeries take place at the Miami Beach Surgery Center, upstairs from the office, and he is accepting new patients.
