About
Tanya Tymus Bellamy is the CEO and a hairstylist at McKenna Jordan Salon Bar. She opened her first salon, Hairport International, in Washington DC at age 21. Her history includes founding NSeya Salon & Spa, with locations including Peachtree, Roswell, Midtown and Buckhead, and salons she has owned in DC, Illinois and Atlanta. She holds the role of Aveda Ambassador and works as a lead educator for textured hair and for hair extensions. She is also a lead platform artist for Revlon Inc and for DZire, and an advisory board consultant for textured hair. Beyond the salon, she developed and distributes Bellarituals hair care products and serves as CEO and creative director of Portfolio Hair Magazine. Her salon work has been featured in Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married, Good Morning Atlanta and House Wives of Atlanta, along with magazine features in Vogue, Elle, Allure, Essence and Ebony. Celebrity clients include Beyonce, Tyler Perry, Usher, Toni Braxton and Brandy.
