Tanya Joy

Tanya Joy owns Tanya Joy Wellness and has worked in the wellness industry for about 20 years. She started teaching Pilates mat classes in 2002 and soon moved to teaching the reformer exclusively. She is certified in Pilates with AMFPT (2003) and trained with mentor Barbara Devault and with instructors from Pilates hubs in Colorado, New York, California and Hawaii.

She came to skincare as an adult, attending esthetician school. Her skin work focuses on anti-aging treatments, and she works with preventative aging, acne, sensitive skin, rosacea, skin rejuvenation, hyperpigmentation and sunspots. She also completed a 200-hour yoga certification in 2012, and her yoga training was at Yoga Adventure Teacher Training in South Kona, Hawaii. She teaches yoga classes, along with yoga-lates, chair and Cadillac work, and reformer and mat Pilates. She does some work in Hawaii, up to eight weeks a year.

She has training with the tuning forks used in the energetic clearing services and keeps learning through mentors, trade shows and classes. With new Pilates clients, she spends time at the start to establish their goals.
