Tanya

Tanya owns Millennium Salon, where she also works as a hair stylist. She began styling hair in 1986, after graduating from beauty college, and has worked as a professional in the Bay Area for about 30 years. Early on, she spent two years at an Aveda Concept Salon. On the cutting side, her studies include advanced courses at Gary Gerard's International Advanced Hair Cutting Center, hair cutting technique training with Gary Glossman, and American Crew men's hair cutting training. She also received advanced clipper cutting instruction directly from Frank Avila, Master Barber of the CCA Gents Division. For color, she has completed advanced education with Wella International and Redken Shades EQ, has training in TIGI color techniques and makeup and in Shwartzkoff color techniques, and holds Certified Color Design Artist status through Farouk Systems. She has training in the Rusk Thermal Straightening System, and the CHI Transformation System is another credential she holds.
