About

Tanya Cook-Riley founded Good Skin Aesthetics. She holds Registered Nurse (RN) and Licensed Esthetician licenses, along with BSN, RN and LE credentials. Her aesthetics work started in 2010 as a licensed esthetician, and she qualified as a registered nurse in 2011. Across more than 15 years, her practice has been limited to medical aesthetics, drawing on dermatology in both medical and surgical settings, plastic surgery, laser and injectable work, advanced skincare and regenerative treatments. Stanford Health Care gave her time in cutaneous oncology, dermatologic surgery and a Mohs clinic, plus aesthetic nursing. She also worked in clinical dermatology at Veterans Affairs, and in private practice across aesthetics, dermatology and energy-based treatments. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from San José State University in December 2010, with a minor in nutrition from the same university, and completed esthetician training at San José City College in May 2010. Continuing education includes ProCell Therapies Certified Provider (2022), Dermaplaning Certification (2023), Aging Skin Specialist education (2023), Allergan Medical Institute Accelerate advanced aesthetic education (2022), Circadia Advanced Peel Training and Chemical Peel Specialist Education (2024), and Advanced Revance Injectable Education in Nashville and NeoGen PSR Specialist Training (2025). Her focus is regenerative and corrective work that improves collagen, texture, laxity and general skin condition. She performs one-on-one NeoGen treatments and injectables. Her specialties include NeoGen PSR nitrogen plasma, professional chemical peels, microchanneling, biostimulators and neuromodulators. With NeoGen, she may pair lighter-energy work over larger areas with more concentrated energy aimed at particular concerns. Clients are followed from assessment through follow-up, and before a client decides, she walks through the education behind each treatment and the products used. She uses professional skincare products she personally tests in her practice, and she writes skincare guidance for The Loomis Local.

Approach
She tailors each treatment after assessing the skin, aiming for a fresh, natural look and a plan shaped around the client's goals, recovery time and schedule.
