Tamra Bedford

Tamra Bedford is the owner of Tamra Bedford, Cosmetic RN, and works as a cosmetic nurse. She is a registered nurse with more than 20 years of experience in medical aesthetics, and she works alongside Dr. Stephen Ronan's physician-owned medical spa and Blackhawk Plastic Surgery.

Her specialties include injectables such as Dysport, fillers and Restylane, along with laser hair removal, laser skin procedures, IPL, facial rejuvenation, chemical peels, microneedling and rosacea treatment. Her work on the site centers on wrinkle relaxers, fillers, laser treatments and IPL.

For injectables, she studies each client's facial anatomy and watches how the muscles move, then maps the facial muscles and recommends a plan before any treatment. The aim is to soften lines without removing expression. For lips, she studies the natural shape and builds volume gradually, preferring a touch-up to overfilling. Treatment plans are customized to each client's goals and skin type, laser settings are calibrated to skin tone, hair color and the area treated, and microneedling depth is adjusted by zone of the face. Clients are not handed off to a rotating technician.
