Tamiko Williams

Tamiko Williams is the owner and master stylist of Unique Total Design Salon. She trained at Wards Corner Beauty Academy from 1994 to 1996 and received a Paul Mitchell Color certification in 1996. She won first place in the Lawrence Brothers Prime Time Hair Battle in 2012 and 2013, and received the ACHI Hairstylist of the Year award in November 2015. She also received Influance Image Awards in May 2017 and May 2018, and a Hampton Roads Beauty and Barber Technicians Pioneer Award in April 2018. Her work has been featured in Black Hair Magazine, Mane and Tail, Institute Magazine, Hair -n- Motion Magazine and an Influance color marketing campaign from 2012 to 2017. Full-page spreads ran in Modern Magazine in April 2017 and Peluquerias Magazine in November 2017. She also founded the Paint Me Perfectly Pink Breast Cancer Foundation in October 2014 and held its breast cancer balls from 2016 to 2018.
