Talaat B.J. Kanafani

Talaat B.J. Kanafani owns the salon and works as its stylist. She opened her own salon in 1991 and has styled hair for the Miss Universe competition for several years in a row. Her specialties include hair styling and up-dos.

Her training runs through several decades of courses. She received diplomas from the Jordanian hairdressing festival for women in 1983 and from the second such festival in 1984. In the 1990s she completed a KEUNE techniques course (1994), a beauty festival diploma for Petra (1995) and a FRAMESI course (1997), and she attended a FARMAVITA course in 1998. In 2005 she earned a complete coloring course diploma and a straight styling diploma, both from Schwarzkopf Professional. She received a CHI transformation certificate in 2006 and is listed as an acknowledged trainer under Farouk Systems (CHI Company). In 2007 she took part in a hair techniques meeting at the FRAMESI Academy in Italy, completed a technical, scientific course for FARMAVITA in Italy, and received a certificate of completion in an international master of arts program from Farouk Systems University in Houston, USA. In 2008 she received a diploma from the Festival International de la Coiffure in Amman.
