Tabitha Avelar runs Beauty By Tabitha, where she is the only specialist, working as a nail and lash technician and instructor. She started the studio and leads its training courses. She holds a Rhode Island manicurist license, and the state lists her as an approved Rhode Island mentor and trainer and as an educator approved by the RI Office of Postsecondary Commissioner.

On the lash side, she holds Classic and Volume certifications and works as a Lashbase UK trainer, teaching hybrid and volume techniques. She is a certified instructor and official educator for Aprés Gel-X. Her other certifications include Barbicide through its Safe Salon program, CPR, and bloodborne pathogen training. She has training in the latest Gel-X techniques.

Her services center on restoring healthy nails, structured gel overlays, soft Gel-X extensions, Dazzle Dry manicures, lash extensions, Gel-X nail extensions, and pedicures. With students, she stresses shared knowledge and continued mentorship. Appointments and training are offered in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
