Tabasum Mir, MD

Tabasum Mir, MD, founded MirSkin Aesthetics. She is a surgeon focused on cosmetic and facial procedures and has practiced for nearly 20 years. Her training began with an ophthalmology program at NYU School of Medicine, followed by training at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital. She later completed further study in ocular and facial plastics and cosmetic surgery. She is certified and credentialed as a physician in New York, Florida and the Cayman Islands. She belongs to several professional bodies: the American Board of Cosmetic and Aesthetic Medicine, the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and the American Society for Laser Medicine. She has been a medical expert guest on television programs including The Doctors, Wendy Williams, TMZ and The CBS Early Show. Her writing and commentary have appeared in Vogue, Allure, Real Self, Lucky, Esquire, Life & Style, InTouch, People and Shape. She sits on the medical committee for the Best of Beauty Awards presented by InStyle, and she hosts GlamMir, a podcast on CBS Radio that has featured interviews with well-known guests.
